Adding taxes to your invoice

Learn how to add sales taxes to your invoices.

Sales taxes must be added to each invoice item. In this example we are adding the sales tax to an already created invoice.

Adding sales tax to your invoice

  1. Click Edit to make changes to the invoice.

  2. Click the edit icon to add taxes to the invoice item.

  3. In the invoice item editor, click ADD TAX.

  4. Choose the appropriate Tax type tax and change the Tax % by typing or using the increase or decrease buttons.

  5. Click SAVE to save your changes.

  6. You will now see the tax name under the unit price for the invoice item.

  7. The total amount for taxes will be displayed below your subtotal and added to your total.
