How to set up birth, postpartum and custom services

Birth & Postpartum Services

Birth & Postpartum Services are already set up in eDoula. You will need to add your fees and payment schedule.

  1. Go to the Services and Products section found on the left-hand toolbar.

  2. Add a more detailed description of your service in the Description.

  3. Add your Fee for your service and choose if this fee is:

    • Once (e.g. Birth Support fee)

    • Per Hour (e.g. Postpartum Support fee)

    • Per Day

  4. If you request a deposit from your clients, you can choose your Deposit Type:

    • Flat Amount (Enter the dollar amount in the Deposit field)

    • Percentage of your full fee (Enter the percentage in the Deposit field)

  5. Select your Payment Schedule from the list, e.g. Deposit at start, then final payment.

  6. Click SAVE

Custom Services

You can also add a custom service by clicking on the drop down at the top and selecting service.

  1. Go to the Services and Products section found on the left-hand toolbar.

  2. Click To add a services, select a type

  3. Select Service from the list and click the check mark to the right

  4. Type in the name of the service you provide and click the check mark to the right

  5. Your new services will now be in a new tab

  6. Add a more detailed description of your service in the Description.

  7. When creating custom services you will need to choose which Client Tabs you want visible for this services.

  8. Add your Fee for your service and choose if this fee is:

    • Once (e.g. Placenta Encapsulation fee)

    • Per Hour (e.g. Sibling Support fee)

    • Per Day (e.g. Overnight Shift)

  9. If you request a deposit from your clients, you can choose your Deposit Type:

    • Flat Amount (Enter the dollar amount in the Deposit field)

    • Percentage of your full fee (Enter the percentage in the Deposit field)

  10. Select your Payment Schedule from the list, e.g. Deposit at start, then final payment.

  11. Click SAVE
